Attendance: Steps to Answering NCLEX Questions NCLEX Coaching Webinar
Hello and Welcome from the NCLEX Success Team!
As part of your graduation and transcript clearance, you are required to view TWO webinar recordings with the NCLEX Coaches. The webinar recordings you are required to view are Test Taking Strategies with Asst Professor Thom Hazel and Steps to Answering NCLEX.
In order to receive credit for both webinars, you will be required to complete a reflection paper for each webinar to verify you viewed the webinar in its entirety. The reflection paper will be due by the end of Week 14. You will need to write a minimum of 2 paragraphs, summarizing 3 key takeaways from the webinar, written in a professional and scholarly manner. Please submit it here for grading. If you do not complete this step, you will not be marked as complete for attending this webinar. The webinar recording is located under the NCLEX Coaching Module of this course.
Any webinars you’ve attended previously that were not with the current NCLEX Coaches (see above) will NOT be accepted as attendance, as the webinars listed above have been developed to assist in preparing learners for NCLEX using current information from the NCSBN. A common question asked is regarding previous webinar attendance early last year with Jodi Thompson (possibly while enrolled in BSN 265), as well as other webinars held by faculty in courses other than 366 and 395. Attendance at those webinars will not replace the Webinar requirement for NCLEX Coaching.
What happens if you do not view both required webinars and complete the reflection papers?
If you do not view both required webinars and complete and submit the reflection papers, you will be placed on a hold and your transcripts will not be released, which will prevent you from scheduling to take your NCLEX exam. To avoid this, please make it a high priority to meet with requirement. It is recommended that you complete the webinars requirement earlier in the semester.
